For the last 20 years I worked as either a long haul flight attendant or in multi-national companies. My life changed dramatically when I met my husband and then again when we discovered we couldn't have children. Life felt meaningless, fragmented and lost. It was in this fragmented period that led me to the body and mind therapy path, including Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy which helped me get back on track and feel whole again.
After a few phases of life transitioning, I have now landed and offered Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy in Thailand. I took the two-year practitioner course with Body Intelligence in Singapore, and I am a certified Biodynamic Craniosacral therapist. HOW DOES THE LIGHT TOUCH WORK?
Slow touch on skin, the largest organ and sensory receptor, carries the signals to the brain that is central to feeling and consciousness. That kind of touch soothes the nervous system, turns down the volume of stress, pain, anxiety & trauma. It can help your body switch from fight or flight to rest and recuperate mode, from restriction to expansion, and from isolation to social engagement. That shifting can create new stories for your body to re-wire for recovery. Ultimately, you will feel whole and on track again. Yes, it is possible.
HOW DO I PREPARE FOR A BIODYNAMIC CRANIOSACRAL SESSION?
You remain clothed during the session so wearing comfortable clothes is ideal. Try not to have a big meal right before your appointment. Allow yourself to arrive a few minutes early so you have enough time to decompress before your session.
WILL I GET BETTER?
I know where you are coming from for this question. Hands on my heart, there is possibility for you to access and optimise your health. Don't give up on your body because it is way too high to pay off. Yes, you will get better.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE?
We are working for change and growth together. Our working together depends greatly on resources. I would recommend 4-8 sessions initially and our first review could be at session number 3 or 4. When the resource is low, it could take longer than that. Whether in the short or long haul, your garden can flourish when the planting seeds are given the right amount of tender loving care.
